Let me take you back to 2002...
A group of three C-level executives, myself included, had been working for large Financial Services firms and we were frustrated. Frustrated by the way that management consultancies operated and frustrated by their lack of knowledge, experience and transparency. This also led to the creation of our tagline, Experience. The Difference.
So we decided to become the solution we were looking for. We set up TORI to be a transformational consultancy within Financial Services that would do things differently.
It was a tough start. Our competitors were huge. Their reputations, influence and spending power dwarfed ours. I was even advised to close the firm at one point. And that was before the financial crisis hit…
But we backed ourselves through it all. We always believed that if we worked hard, built successful partnerships and stuck to our values of Trust, Openness, Respect and Integrity, we would reap rewards. Our experience was indeed the difference!
