Client Challenge

Our Client had originally outsourced their backup service several years ago. The client now wanted to structure a new offering in the form of a managed service and issued an RFP to select a new supplier to deliver the desired backup model (BaaS).

What We Did

Conducted detailed analysis of the RFP that was issued to understand:

  • the original structure of what was being delivered
  • the operational requirements of the new service
  • SLA requirements
  • Engaged with key stakeholders to provide support and coaching in what to expect from the suppliers
  • Worked through all supplier responses and provided summaries
  • Coached stakeholders in scoring exercise and led scoring sessions
  • Orchestrated key events and communication regarding the RFP process
  • Performed detailed analysis and reported on the financial models
  • Led contract negotiations with the selected vendor

  • Current business case
  • TCO model for several scenarios
  • Future business case to support decision
  • RFP scoring summaries and details
  • Final recommendation materials
  • Executive summary and collateral for down selection and final selection of supplier
  • Provided detailed project plan from vendor selection to negotiation of commercials to contract execution
